The Roof-Tek Evalon Flat Roofing System provides a highly weather resistant flat roof solution for over 50 years. Comprising a Evalon membrane supplied in roll form, the system is bonded to the structure and the seams welded together providing a seamless and trouble-free roof covering. Suitable for many structures including domed, pitched or flat roofs, Evalon can be applied to both old and new properties.

Flat roofs have always been a problem. Bitumous coverings have a very short life. They are broken down by the Sun’s ultra-violet rays causing them to blister and crack. Water, allowed to pond on the surface, is quick to penetrate the layers of felt causing leaks and deterioration of the sub-structure.
The EVALON high polymer compound roofing membrane is today’s solution to flat roofing problems. Developed in Germany, the excellent properties of the membrane are maintained and performance does not deteriorate. It meets all requirements relating to resistance to weathering and high environmental pollution. Being a flexible membrane, Evalon can be applied to all types of roof decks, roof specifications and roof configurations, e.g. flat roofs with minimum fall, pitched roofs, curved or dome roofs etc. The membranes also have a proven reliability as a waterproof covering for patios and terraces.
The membranes can be fully or partially bonded, or mechanically fixed to the sub-structure. Seams are homogeneously welded together by means of a welding agent or hot air. They have been physically tested and proven under all weather conditions. Even after accelerated weathering tests exceeding a free exposure of 25 years, the membrane showed no degradation at all and remained durable.
To date, some 100 million square metres have been laid, including 10 million square metres in the UK. Its’ track record is second to none.
The system includes all types of flat roof edge-trims and wall flashing profiles, roof drains, vent and roof lights to suit every type of roof.
Evalon membranes have been awarded the British Agrèment Certificate No. 89/2363/C. The Roof-Tek Evalon Flat Roofing System carries a 25 Year Guarantee, together with a comprehensive manufacturer’s Guarantee which includes insurance cover if required.
